Killed: Shehada and McCoy, both 29 years of age, killed within four days of one another:
multiple unrelated killings of unarmed victims by Miami Beach police:
We are now being told that the Miami Beach Police officers were responding to 911 calls and "bolos" to look out for men armed with AK-47 assault rifles, as a justification for the killing of Husien Shehada, the unarmed tourist; and then, when no AK-47 (or any weapon at all, for that matter!) was found after they killed him, the police department alleged that Husien or his brother may have carried a "coat hanger" under a T-shirt, one that resembled an AK-47.
An AK-47 is an assault rifle that bears no resemblance whatsoever to a coat hanger and vice versa. These assault weapons are 34" long with stock protruding. A can of tomatoes’ has no resemblance to a watermelon, and to suggest otherwise is a lie from the pit of hell.
Police have a duty and an obligation to check out a warning or a sighting; they are not sent out like sociopathic drones and robots to kill! They have brains to sort out the facts, eg, observation, surveillance, use the the least force necessary. Has no one considered that the folks right behind the two brothers sitting in the diner watching through the picture window, were placed in harms way by this rogue, cowboy cop?
You can watch the surveillance tape 40 times and it isn't going to change what you see, what's clearly depicted in the footage. That is why we released it first! The police officers played the surveillance tape for a few civilians upstairs at the TWIST nightclub. "See....he moved ....see he is going for his gun". The civilians looked at each other and said to themselves and each other, "Where? I don't see that."
Now they say there isn't movement - only a bulge! Neither brother flinched or moved furtively or inappropriately when told to "stop, put your hands up". Instead they obeyed the command and were rewarded with three shoots that sent Husein Shehada into eternity. This is right out of a scene in a world war II movie......German soldier mows down innocent civilian!
Then this community learns that this same homicidal, maniacal police officer is involved in a second brutal killing 4 days later!
We learned that Kathy Rundle at the state attorney's office is mighty uncomfortable about this now! Their job is not to clean up the mess this police officer made;. rather it is to pull this officer off the streets, punish him, and tell us the truth.
Soon, the public will learn of the horrific facts of the second, savage execution that occurred on the causeway, with 10-11. Bullets piercing the frail body of the unarmed, 130 pound Lawrence Raymond McCoy Jr.
Two of these projectiles entered the back of McCoy as he ran for his life away from the pursuing officers. Most of the other 8 or 9 bullets entered the face and arms of McCoy - as he held his arms up over his face, attempting to defend this brutal assassination.
Captain Garcia of the Miami Beach Police Dept. Informed four separate members of the McCoy family, "We haven't yet been able to confirm there was a gun," which sounds better than, "your son had no gun, from what we've been able to find." Captain Garcia also confirmed for the family that their son was on foot and running for 400 yards away from police while unarmed, when he was executed. Again, 10 - 11 shots, in the back, face and arms, and frankly, everywhere on his body. His father, a 20 year retired air force veteran, remarked, "you wouldn't even do a dog that way," lamenting his son's savage execution. And to think that the same homicidal "officer" involved in this McCoy killing, was the killing officer/executioner in the Shehada homicide 4 days earlier?
We just learned that the Medical Examiner. has been asked to perform a second examination/investigation of the McCoy body - delaying the McCoy family's cremation plans and funeral service. Like the old saying goes, "There's never enough time to do it right, but there's always enough time to do it twice" - at least when the press is watching, and when Miami Beach "risk management" is sweating. The AK-47 spin would be comical if it weren't so sad. Anyone with all three parts of their brain working, can watch the video of the Shehada execution, and see that Husien Shehada was compliant, and unarmed, executed less than two seconds after facing his killer cop. Thank God for videos. We have no video (yet) on the savage murder of McCoy; but what we do have, is almost a dozen bullets fired into his frail little body, and no gun found. Killer cops. Welcome to Miami Beach. – John Contini
